An overall stretching & flexibility program designed to help meet your fitness goals.
This class meets for 2 hours each week for 6 weeks. The first 75 minutes are Yoga exercises and progressions with the final 45 minutes allowing open climbing. During this time the instructor will provide optional climbing exercises and assist climbers.
For participants of all levels, Yoga at Vertically Inclined brings a new level of flexibility, breathing and focus into the Climbing Environment.

This program is taught by Eileen, a long-time VIRG instructor. Eileen has been practicing yoga for 5 years and recently completed her training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.
Her Yoga teachings integrate breath, flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness for an energizing experience!

The Yoga program must be pre-booked and runs Saturdays from 7-9am. The next session runs 6 weeks from March 1 to April 12.
Ages:
The Yoga Program is available to participants age 14 and up. All participants must have a waiver signed. For those under 18 years of age, they must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Questionnaire:
Participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding their fitness goals and any limitations they may have in participating. These questionnaires must be completed and returned prior to the first class.
Clothing & Equipment:
Participants are suggested to wear comfortable clothing that they can move around in. Layers are also a great idea. Yoga Mats are not provided - participants must bring their own - available at a number of retailers.
