The Tadpoles & Bullfrogs Semester Program provides an opportunity over 10 weeks for kids ages 5 - 9 years and their parents to explore the vertical world of climbing together! Both participants learn new and exciting skills through instruction, games and activities. Adults cover all of the content of our Getting Into It introductory course and spend time climbing with each other and with their kids. Tadpoles Plus is for 5-9 year olds who have completed Tadpoles and who want to continue climbing and improving their skills. The Tadpoles Training Team is a 10-week program for climbers who want to train and push their climbing skills to new levels. The Treefrog Semester Program is a 10-week course designed to get kids introduced to the sport of indoor rock climbing. The course focuses on three main areas; fun, safety and learning. Your child will learn the basics of rope management (belaying) and tying a climbing knot along with all the climbing safety checks. Each week consists of 2 hours during which time there will be lots of climbing and some climbing related games and activities. All activities are conducted under the watchful eye of one of Vertically Inclined Rock Gym’s expert instructors and take advantage of the facility’s amazing climbing surfaces and safety equipment. The kids’ natural climbing abilities will quickly show through, and at the end of 10 weeks, you’ll be amazed to see all the skills your kids will have mastered, and the walls that they will be dancing their way to the top of! Treefrogs II is a 10-week program for 10-13 year olds who have completed Treefrogs and who want to continue climbing and improving their skills.
